My magazine, D CEO, hosts a quarterly happy hour. Last night our event was at Imaginaire hangar at Addison Airport. They had private planes you could wander through and imagine yourself living the rock star life. Aston Martin was our automotive sponsor, so they had a couple of cars on site. It was a lot of fun - except for the fact that it was about 90 degrees and the hangar was NOT air-conditioned. We had those big osculating fans... but still. It was steamy. But, people stayed the whole time. Crazy what people will do for a free drink. This is me with local media celebrities David Johnson from KRLD Radio and Tim Ryan from Fox 4 News . Randy and I watch Fox 4 news every morning, so I was very excited to see Tim. He's hilarious on-air and was very nice in person.
This is my gang: Chris (my hot boss) me, Molly, Phyllis (Boss' boss, queen of D Magazine and mother to two yr. old triplets) and Sunny in the front - or "Wee" Sunny as Randy calls her because she is so tiny. With so many beautiful sales people, you see why the magazine is doing so well!
