According to published reports last week, the hit TV show Dora the Explorer is looking to give their star a makeover. Needless to say, Moms across America are outraged at this idea of making sweet spunky Dora into a teen prostitute.
Who decides these things? Some male TV executive who does not have children!? This is a HORRIBLE idea and I hope Nickelodeon gets enough backlash that they dump this ridiculous idea.

UPDATE (3/18) Dora's new look is revealed. Mattel officials released a statement saying, "As a tween, Dora has moved to the big city, attends middle school and has a whole new fashionable look. She will also have a rich online world, a la Webkinz, in which girls can explore, play games, customize, and solve mysteries with Dora and her new friends." I still hate this idea.
