Well, it took an extra week...but I finally had my Daryl Johnston sighting!This past week the YMCA held their annual "Under the Lights" games. This is when all of the Pop Warner Football teams play in the Highland Park Scots Stadium. Each game consists of a 25 minutes scrimmage game. They divide the field into two parts so there are 2 games happening at once.
Daryl Johnston was there to coach him team this week. We didn't play them, but they were on the field right next to us. So, it took four weeks, but my Cowboy trifecta is now complete. Troy Aikman, Jerry Jones and now Daryl Johnston... we have now seen all the Dallas Cowboy greats on the football fields of Highland Park.
Little Man's team won and the boys had a great time playing in the stadium. I can't believe the season is almost over. We have his last game this weekend... and then it's on to Basketball!
