How was you your weekend? Mine, you ask? It was filled with sports activities of all kinds. Saturday was the YMCA Track Meet which was held at SMU's Moody Colosseum. SMU was also holding graduation ceremonies this day, so parking was a lot of fun (NOT). At least we had an overcast day, so it wasn't too awfully hot.
Little Man participated in the long jump (see pictures below), the soft ball throw and the 400 meter run.
The highlight of my day was a DARYL JOHNSON sighting!
You know that always brings a ray of sunshine into my life...
And, after a long, hot afternoon, everyone got the obligatory trophy, was declared a "winner" just for signing up and we went to Mia's to celebrate his efforts with some delicious Mexican food.
We spent Sunday in Frisco for two lacrosse games. And I do mean "spent Sunday". We were there from 10AM to 5:30 PM. Little Man's on a new select lacrosse team and this was their first showing as a team. With only one practice, they tied the first game and lost the second. It was fun to watch and this is what I will be doing with my summer, so stay tuned for more to come on Lacrosse!
