I am really good about keeping my house picked up. If you came to see me - like, right now - you would walk in and think my house was clean. Or maybe I should say, neat. You'd definitely think it was neat and tidy.
But if you look closer, there might be some dust on the knick knacks or smudges on the bathroom mirror. It's the little details that bog me down. That was never made more clear to me than when I went to make lunch the other day.
I pulled out a little container of yogurt, only to notice that it had expired June 24 - which was 3 weeks ago. Hmmm. Then I started looking at all of the bottles and jars in my fridge...
Holy moly.
There was a big container of sour cream that had expired April 16 (what!) and I was deathly afraid to open the lid and peek inside for fear that black mold pods would shoot out and eat me. I spent 30 minutes going through every single thing in my refrigerator and threw away 12 jars and cans of stuff.
When was the last time you went through your fridge? Um-hum. That's what I thought.
