Well, it's official. I have made the jump from posting on my personal Facebook profile to creating a Fan Page for this blog. Why? For one thing, Facebook won't let you have more than 5,000 connections on a personal page. Not that I am anywhere near that. But, you never know. Oprah or Ellen could call me tomorrow to talk about blogging and I need to have unlimited capability to reach the masses.
The real reason, is that I have started to become aware that I am hesitant to post anything personal on my page: vacation pictures, family news, etc. The truth is (and I hope I am not hurting anyone's feelings when I say this) that there is a big difference between a fan and a friend. While I am comfortable with the most intimate details of my life being thrown up to the cloud for all to read, my family does not always agree with my love of sharing.
So, in an effort to maintain balance and harmony in the Universe, I have created Fan Page for this blog. I hope you will "Like" it and follow along.
