The West Village in Uptown is set to launch a new event called Friday Evening Markets, featuring live music, artisan goods, handcrafted jewelry, and much more. Inspired by the summertime markets found along the seashores of popular European vacation destinations, Friday Evening Markets will be held on the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the exception of the event kickoff, which will be held Friday, July 8.
Located in West Village’s North & South Alley, West Village’s Friday Evening Markets will feature local vendors offering everything from raw honey-based bath and body products to handcrafted semi-precious gemstone jewelry. Shoppers will also enjoy a feast of local food products for purchase including wine, peppered jellies, dry roasted nuts, and more. Several West Village shops will also stay open later for the Friday Evening Market!
