Highland Park Village debuts its fall fashion campaign properly entitled, Iconic Heritage, this month. Celebrating several of the center’s newest boutiques, and playing off of the Lone Star State’s favorite pass times, the campaign features fall ready-to-wear, accessories and jewelry from luxury brands including Pucci, Stella McCartney, Hadleigh’s Bespoke, Harry Winston and Jimmy Choo. Beginning August 15th, the images will be featured on the homepage of the Highland Park Village website.
In a decision to catapult the marketing and advertising efforts beyond past initiatives, Highland Park Village hired industry experts Laspata/DeCaro, a 20+ year old New York based creative marketing agency heavily experienced in luxury fashion. Photographed, produced, and styled by Laspata/DeCaro, the campaign images come to life with supermodel Karolina Kurkova, who perfectly embodies the aspirations of Texas women who have it all.
While I love the campaign, as the owner of an advertising agency my first thought was, "They went to New York for an agency? There are hundreds of creative firms right here in Dallas!" Dislike. But, they did do a nice job.
The print campaign will appear in Vanity Fair, Town & Country and Vogue, as well as a two-page spread and 12 page booklet inserted in the October issue of Texas Monthly. Additionally, the images are featured in a stylish look book that will be direct-mailed exclusively to 30,000 households.
