Park Place Motors provided the hottest destination stop last Saturday night, hosting the 3d annual Accessible Luxury event benefiting Scottish Rite Hospital. DJ Lucy Wrubel provided the soundtrack for the evening while guests
enjoyed everything from fashion to
cuisine featuring food from Kent Rathbun, The Grape, La Duni, to jewels courtesy of Eiseman
Jewels. Courtney Kerr from Bravo TV's Most Eligible Dallas emceed a spectacular fashion show featuring designs from Oscar de la Renta. There was even a "Man Cave" geared towards the men at
the event offering cigars, the Green House food truck, guns
and fashion from Beretta.
I sweet-talked Park Place CEO Ken Schnitzer into unlocking a $400,000 McClaren for me to sit in. There's just something about sitting in a car worth as much as a house that make you feel goooood! I also spied Barney's fashion guru Jack Son, Robin McMonigle, Ashley Oliver, artist Seth Simmons and Texas Monthly's LeighAnne Bakunas mixing and mingling.
Last year's event raised over $50K for the cause. Event Co-chairs Heather and Robert Murphy did an outstanding job overseeing this year's swanky soiree giving me every reason to believe that this year's tally will be more. Fingers crossed!
