Adam Richman Takes on the State Fair of Texas this Saturday

The State Fair of Texas closes on October 21 and in case you needed incentive to get over there, I am so excited to share with you that Adam Richman, host of the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food Nation” and “Best Sandwich in America,” will be on the State Fair of Texas® grounds this Saturday in search of the “Tastiest Messes in Texas.”

Adam will survey the top food vendors and take a behind- the-scenes look into the making of the tastiest messes. He’ll round up the Top Five and encourage fair goers to help him crown the “Tastiest Mess in Texas.”


It’s rumored the Top 5 vendors and foods will include:
Abel Gonzales “Big as Texas” - Fried Butter & Fried Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Banana Sandwich
Skip Fletcher “Fletcher’s Corny Dogs” - Corny Dog 
Butch Venavides “Benavides Nachos” - Fried Bacon Cinnamon Roll
Isaac Rousso “Taste of Cuba” - Fried Pork Wing
Glory Dadiotis “Berrie Kabobs” - Chocolate Fruit Kabob

You'll be able to catch Adam at the Bounty Select-A-Size Booth – State Fair of Texas Tower Building on Cotton Bowl Plaza this Saturday, October 20 at 2:00 PM.
