Local Fare has Dallas residents critique restaurants

Jeremy Frazer, Cynthia Smoot, Kyle Noonan, Teresa Frosini and Dave Hershey

Last month, Kyle Noonan and Josh Sepkowitz of FreeRange Concepts launched a fun new show on CBS called 'Local Fare' hosted by one of my favorite people, Teresa Frosini.  The concept?  Each episode features three local strangers who aren't affiliated with the restaurant industry. Each person selects their favorite restaurant and the other two try the other two's picks. And then they all come on the show and review them. Noonan's intent is to help Dallas diners "find local neighborhood gems."

You can catch the show's 10th episode featuring ME! this weekend.  My episode features casual dining options, and you can see our take on Mama's Daughter's Diner, Babe's and Truck Yard.  Some might argue that I am affiliated with the restaurant industry since I represent eateries through my marketing and PR firm and blog about food all the time.  Others will say that I don't since I don't actually work for a restaurant. All I can say is that I gave them the 411 and Noonan still green-lighted me for the show, so yell at him and not me.

I had a great time filming the episode and I hope you enjoy our witty banter.  Stay tuned for Episode 11 the next week, as it will feature the gals of KTXD's The Broadcast!   Local Fare airs Saturdays at 5 p.m. and on Sundays at 9:30am on local CBS affiliate KTXA 21.
