I braved the pouring rain last Saturday night to check out the 3d annual Accessories In The Nude, an annual accessories designer competition and cocktail event. Because, well, everything is better with a cocktail! #LeDuh! The motto for this event is, "If you aren't wearing the right accessories, you might as well be nude!" The contest allows accessory designers to showcase their jewelry in front of fashion forward judges along with the exciting opportunity to create or increase visibility for their product line. The evening was presented by Flair for Fashion's Meko Krout King and hosted by the exquisite Lisa Petty, Editor of DFW Style Daily. Each designer presented three looks from their collection. Models were positioned on kiosks which allowed the judges and guests to get an up-close look at the designs shown. Judges included Shona Che're Gilbert, Shona; Bernard Underwood, An Intimate Place and Amy Claro and Amy Coffey from Accessory Concierge. The winner will be announced at the AIN Fashion Showcase on May 17th.
