On Tuesday, April 18th, DIFFA/Dallas hosted an exclusive preview party at the Downtown Dallas staple, The Joule Hotel, to reveal select jackets for House of DIFFA: Arabesque. The fashionable event, presented by Gensler, provided guests a first-hand look at some of the stunning jackets in this year’s Collection. Guests sipped on exquisite cocktails provided by Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Ketel One and bites provided by The Joule Catering, while tunes from DJ Steffi Burns revved up the scene and jackets displayed throughout the room and on models dazzled the evening’s guests. Jackets on display included designs from Billy Reid, TAG Heuer, Michael Bastian, Carolina Herrera, Dan and Joseph, Shemara Couture, Elements, Daniel Esquivel, J Hilburn, as well as jackets modeled throughout the evening designed by Binzario Couture, Patti Flowers, Robert Graham, Forty Five Ten, Silk Threads by Ruby Bhandari, Nha Khan, Carlos Nicholls, Geoffrey Henning, Giuliana Teso, and Traffic LA at The Joule.
DIFFA/Dallas’ Chairman of the Board, Chuck Steelman, House of DIFFA Event Chair, Sami Abboud, DIFFA/Dallas Executive Board Members, Jon McEwen, Christopher McCullough and Carol Quist mingled among other Board Members and stylish guests including, Dean Robinson, L.B. Rosser, Densil Adams, Brittanie Buchanan Oleniczak, Patrick Ware, Caroline Kraddick, Clint Bradley, Darin Kunz, Jim DiMarino, Don Gaiser, Phil Harrison, Uno Immanivong, Justin Bundick, Jody Stein, LeeAnne Locken, Matt Wilkerson, Cearan Henley, Melissa Enriquez and Carol Hatton. Guests were also able to purchase tickets for the raffle directly benefiting DIFFA/Dallas, for a choice between a 2017 Land Rover Discovery or a 2017 Jaguar XE. This year’s theme, House of DIFFA: Arabesque, presented by Headington Companies along with its retailers and The Joule Hotel, features an equestrian flare with a hint of beautiful harems and mysterious, sensual Arabian nights. House of DIFFA: Arabesque will take place on Saturday, May 6th at the Omni Dallas Hotel.
