In celebration of the 7th season premiere of the break-out hit docu-series, Married at First Sight, Lifetime is celebrating matrimony in a larger-than-life way - by covering the costs of courthouse weddings for 70 couples in 7 cities (Dallas, NYC, LA, Atlanta, Miami, Boston and Chicago). The nationwide festivities will kick off on with a Texas-style wedding bash at the Renaissance Tower courtyard in Downtown Dallas. The celebrations will be complete with:
- Free marriage licenses for the first 70 people who come to Renaissance Tower courtyard between 8am-4:30pm
- Miniature wedding cakes The Jenny Lane Bakery
- Live music (and first dance song requests!) from local band House Special
- Dance instructors providing mini-lessons to couples on site
- A professional photographer to capture each couple’s special day
- Giveaways ranging from restaurant gift cards to overnight stays in honeymoon suites
GuideLive reports that Dallas is getting special treatment because Married At First Sight will feature three Dallas couples this season. The show features six singles who are matched and meet for the first time at the altar. And, like it says in the Season 7 trailer, "the only way out is divorce." The show's seventh season will kick off with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on Lifetime, following a matchmaking special at 7.
